Whether you are a creator, writer, sound editor, voice actor or composer, The Piece of Cake Podcasting Network wants you! But why should you want a piece of cake?  Here are a just a few benefits to joining The Network:

Part One: Creators

​

1. As a creator, you will be applying to promote your podcast under the Piece of Cake name.

2. Please apply with at least five outlined episodes ready to be written/recorded/etc as well as one written episode.

3. If you are accepted into the network we can help find you sound editors, other/- writers, voice actors, etc., or you can run your own auditions.

4. Please make sure to send us your outline in a DOC or PDF entitled [Your Name – Writer Audition]. Please have your complete outline and fully written episode in Two Separate documents.

Part Two: Writers

​

1. As a writer, you will help write a podcast's episodes, if cast in a Piece of Cake production.

2. To apply, please provide two examples of your script writing. These can either be a past project you did or you may ask for a prompt in the required media section of the application. Each writing sample must be at least 1 page long.

3. Please make sure to send us your examples in a DOC or PDF entitled [Your Name – Writer Audition]. Please include both samples in one document file.

Part Three: Sound Editors

​

1. As a sound editor, you will be in charge of a podcast's audio production, if cast in a Piece of Cake production. 

2. To apply, please directly message us, either via email or Twitter,and we will send sound samples for you to edit. Scripts provided will not exceed 2 pages.

3. Please make sure to send us your audition in an MP3 or WAV file entitled [Your Name – Composer Audition].

Part Four: Composer

​

1. As a composer, you will be in charge of creating a podcast's music, if cast in a Piece of Cake production. 

2. To apply, please submit a recording of an original piece or a cover of one. Recordings should not exceed 2 minutes total.

3. Please make sure to send us your audition in an MP3 or WAV file entitled [Your Name – Composer Audition].

 Part Five: Voice Actor

​

1. As a voice actor, you will be in charge of voicing characters for a podcast, if cast in a Piece of Cake production.

2. To apply, please submit a recording of two distinct monologues, such as a dramatic and comedic monologue. Monologues can be from any source. Monologues should not exceed 3 minutes total.

3. Please make sure to send us your audition in an MP3 or WAV file entitled [Your Name – Voice Actor Audition]. Please include both monologues in one audio file.
